We are one of just two hotels in Grasmere to have an entry in the 2014 Good Hotel Guide and are recommended separately for the hotel and restaurant, of which we are the one and only restaurant in Grasmere; in a certain red guide; both guides you cannot buy into and we don't do too badly on TripAdvisor either, just to blow our own trumpet a little!
