Nestled in Grasmere Village in the heart of the English Lake District, Oak Bank Hotel is perfectly placed to explore the surrounding lakes, fells and tarns. Oak Bank has two lounges both with plenty of comfy sofas and armchairs to relax in. The front lounge has a converted range and the bar lounge has a real log/coal fire and unsurprisingly a bar!
Breakfast and dinner are served in our Two AA Rosette awarded beautiful dining room and conservatory overlooking the garden which you are welcome to sit in or walk down to see the River Rothay as it passes by on its way to Lake Grasmere.
Park your car at the front of the hotel and you could leave it there for the duration of your stay!
We have membership to the Langdale Spa, great for a swim, sauna & steam, a workout or treatment and offer free Wi-Fi internet access for those of you who need to keep in touch with the outside world!
